Grants

September 14, 2009

In looking for grants the most logical starting point is the Foundation Center. The Foundation Center has a listing of grants for both non-profits and individuals. The Foundation Center also provides free tutorials on grant writing and other related topics. The Foundation Center is just a start Google has millions of relevant websites with grant information.

Most grants are given to non-profits but if you put forth the effort there are individual grants out there. The following are a few of the sites I have found to be useful:

  1. Michigan State University Libraries – Writing Grants
  2. National Endowment for the Arts
  3. http://foundationcenter.org/getstarted/individuals/
